Overview The Data Engineer will work closely with the Director of Architecture & Data Analytics and other members of the Data Analytics team to support the delivery of tactical and strategic analytic solutions across Keypath's global organization. The Data Engineer will participate in the translation of business requirements into technology solutions that deliver business insights through the conversion of business data into actionable information. Additionally, the Data Engineer will be a technical expert in the development of system integration, data warehouse, data modeling, and other complex data solutions. Candidates will have demonstrated real world experience overcoming business problems by delivering highly quality data technology and analytical solutions. This includes the full data analysis lifecycle from data analysis, sourcing, transformation, modeling, and consumption. Candidates will have demonstrated the ability to understand specific data needs for analytic and reporting solutions, and then have the aptitude to design and develop the required technical data models and integrations to support data processing, visualization, operational reporting, and advanced analytics. Responsibilities What you'll be doing as a Data Engineer Design and develop data automation, system integration, data warehouse, and data packaging solutions that support continuous delivery of data insights to business stakeholders. Develop data processing procedures and analytic solutions within the data warehouse that drive business insights and support organizational decision making. Perform data model design and technical transformations as part of the development and deployment of predictive and analytic models. Provide technical and data model designs and specifications to members of other teams within the Information Technology department based on future data visualization and analytic project requirements. Work with business sponsors to develop information and data requirements based on business team feedback and conveyed reporting needs. Create and maintain existing data models to support self-service data analysis and reporting initiatives within business groups. Successfully engage in and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Manage projects and work from inception to production, while adhering to team architectural, developmental, and productivity standards.
Qualifications Education:
Minimum BS/BA Degree, preferably in a Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics related discipline
Experience:
4
years of data analytics experience with a proven history of successfully, developing and deploying data warehouse and analytic model solutions. Knowledge of and experience developing and implementing data integrations, data processing, data warehouse, and data modeling solutions. Proficiency with data transformation concepts (ETL, ELT), preferably with Microsoft technologies including Azure, SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Proficiency with data packaging concepts (Cubes, Tabular Models), preferably with Microsoft technologies including Azure and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of learning new technologies quickly. Excellent communication skills effectively translating data analysis concepts to a business audience. Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team. Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database and analytics technologies required (SQL/TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI). Expert proficiency with Business Intelligence and reporting tools, such as Power BI or Tableau. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, and Tabular Models. Deep experience with Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, charts and power query. Exposure to, and foundational understanding of, predictive analytics platforms, software, languages and libraries such as Azure ML, SAS, Python, R desired. Special Requirements Specific to Job:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
